Cloud FinOps Specialist

About The Position

Join StarkWare as a Cloud FinOps Specialist to optimize our cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining the performance and reliability of our zero-knowledge scaling solutions. You'll work closely with engineering and finance teams to implement cost optimization strategies across our distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cloud spending across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms
• Implement cost optimization strategies for high-performance computing workloads
• Develop and maintain cloud cost allocation models for different business units
• Create automated reporting and alerting systems for budget management
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize resource utilization
• Conduct regular cost reviews and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements
• Establish cloud governance policies and best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cloud financial management or FinOps
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their pricing models
• Experience with cloud cost management tools (CloudHealth, Cloudability, etc.)
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or related field
